Over 250 Teachers.
12 Counties. 13 Days.
$700,000+ of Classroom Computers Statewide.
From Dixon to Jenkins, KY; beginning in Green County and finishing in Breathitt, K-12 educators spent the summer preparing to improve student outcomes and build the Commonwealth’s next-generation workforce.
In a one-day training, teachers earned new computers at a value for most schools equal to 2, 3, 4 or more years of technology funding available otherwise. Training developed by dedicated K-12 technology professionals and educators making best practices across grade levels and subject matter a reality.
Dataseam computers support everyday classroom instruction, advanced curriculum, and provide remote learning access for everything from foreign languages to computer science.
Each computer is part of the statewide DataseamGrid, a research computing utility accelerating Kentucky-based innovation and commercialization through University of Louisville‘s cancer drug discovery, saving lives faster and safer.
Local investments in the K-12 workforce increase effectiveness, productivity, and employee retention for one of Kentucky’s largest employers, public education.
With each computer earned, teachers are equipping themselves with powerful tools driving instruction, shoring up pandemic-impacted learning loss, to challenge students in every classroom with dynamic course content.
Summer’s over.
